Welcome

The Hemet Lions Club is a member of the International Association of Lions Clubs, the largest service club in the world, which lists over 1,450,000 members in more than 185 countries. Founded in 1938, the Hemet Club is the pioneer Lions Club in the city, celebrating 68 years of active community service.

Honored in 1999 by both the United States and California legislatures as an "Outstanding Club", the Hemet Lions Club was recognized as the "Best Club" in District 4L5 in 1999, and many times before, for their wide range of community service projects.

The city of Hemet is a scenic valley destination for many winter visitors for its mild climate. Located midway between Riverside and Palm Springs, California, the area boasts many recreational opportunities. RV parks and golf courses are plentiful. The largest freshwater lake in Southern California is at the outskirts. Senior housing abounds.

The Hemet Lions welcome visitors -- join us! Regular meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of the month at the Recycle Center, 119 So. Inez St. in Hemet, at 7 p.m. Please call Lion Dean Gill at (951)537-0233 if you wish to attend one of our meetings. We would love to see you.
